#35: Re: Project Slow - Ste206 Author: Quarmbo, Location: Bristol & LeicesterPosted: Fri Feb 26, 2010 6:46 am ---- Good thread Ste. You going to get the alloys done in Gloss Black as well? I think it would match the silver black theme you got going on!
#36: Re: Project Slow - Ste206 Author: Ste, Location: Hull -or- The World Of Info CodePosted: Fri Feb 26, 2010 6:49 am ---- Nah mate, Got them done in like a flat silver, they look niceeee.. The wheels are black at the mo that are on and now because the roofs black ect it looks too much.. so Silver alloys should level it all out again
I'll get some piccys up tomorrow once there fitted and the cars had a clean
#37: Re: Project Slow - Ste206 Author: Quarmbo, Location: Bristol & LeicesterPosted: Fri Feb 26, 2010 6:57 am ---- Good good, I look forward to having a look. What kind of exhaust are you going for? Loud and proud, or nice and shiny with a subtle tone to it?
#38: Re: Project Slow - Ste206 Author: Ste, Location: Hull -or- The World Of Info CodePosted: Fri Feb 26, 2010 7:08 am ---- nice and shiney with a subtle tone
Got a few other bits to do first before the exhaust though the list is endless!
#39: Re: Project Slow - Ste206 Author: Ste, Location: Hull -or- The World Of Info CodePosted: Fri Feb 26, 2010 6:23 pm ---- So.. 10:30pm arrived and Ste got bored, so out he went to the car and pulled a random object off it..
Here's what happened..
I'm unsure on it as I havent seen it on the car yet.. BUT it's 100% reversable in liturally seconds
I'll update with a picture of it on the car tomorrow

ste mate, might pop down tomorrow (or today, depending how you look at it) to have a quick look at your car i'll send you a text
#43: Re: Project Slow - Ste206 Author: Ste, Location: Hull -or- The World Of Info CodePosted: Fri Feb 26, 2010 7:29 pm ---- Alright mate Let me know when your coming down if you do and I'll make sure I'm in and yup, its the vinyl I've got LOADSSSSSSSS of it left, and it seems a shame to waste it, its no good for the roof but amazing for smaller things
Alloys are going on at 9ish today, fog lights are getting masked, polishing up the mirrors properly (as there now gloss black but still need polishing up), removing the zest badges from the doors, and possibly changing the mottled style door pillar vinyl for gloss black GTi 180 style stuff so yeah LOTSSSSSS happening to the car today haha!
