Griffiths quickshift - GTi 138 to GTi 180

MY Griffiths quickshift was on my 138, I'm guessing it will go straight onto my 180 as well?

dont think so hdi a gti r the same dono about gti 180 .

Nope, the 180 uses cables not gear rods.

Yep, they don't work on a 180 I'm afraid.

Hang on, you got yourself a 180?! Where's the pictures? And what are you doing with your gti...that you've just completed!!?

Breaking??! Christ mate, haven't you just spent some money on it!? What colour is the 180? Sounds like you have a few niggles! Where did you buy it from (pistonheads, a/trade?)? Im very jealous!!

Yeah :l although, when I say breaking, I'll keep the doors, bonnet, boot, and bumpers, incase I want to euro my 180 on day Smile its just soo nice atm

But yeah the 180 has a few little niggles. RAC plugged the diagnostic computer in, and the ABSS and crankshaft sensors are faulty, but not too pricey to fix

The 180, is in the best colour of blue Very Happy

I'll get pictures up etc over the weekend

so with the 180 being cables and not gerar rods is there a quickshift available for the 180, also would the group n linkages fit to a 180

No & No.

Well you can shorten the gear lever, creating a shorter shift.

ah ok, well sometimes my car seems to have a little bother getting the gears like there not going straight in as smooth as they should be...5th to 4th is the worst
any ideas what could be the cause of this
