#1: Was out playing with the camera tonight.. Author: shaker, Location: AustriaPosted: Tue Jul 20, 2010 3:48 pm ---- Hey all.
Didn't know exactly what to do tonight, so since i finally got my car lowered, i gave the car a good wash and headed out in town with my camera!
Went to visit one of my favourite spots, an ever-changing graffiti wall in an abandoned industrial zone.
A few pics as teasers, might come more tomorrow (if i get the time to upload them, got work from 8 am to midnigt )
First up, a little reflection in the panoramic roof after the cleaning
Lowered, next to the graffiti wall
Came across this - had a good time prepping up for this photo (moving the car around to get the right angle, trying with dipped and full beam etc.)
Cheers for looking!

#3: Re: Was out playing with the camera tonight.. Author: shaker, Location: AustriaPosted: Tue Jul 20, 2010 3:58 pm ---- Thanks
It's Diablo Red, EKQ (i think?? Off the top of my head lol, don't take my word for it )
It's a bit different looking in real life (more red), but it tends to get this colour-ish around sundown which i really like

#5: Re: Was out playing with the camera tonight.. Author: shaker, Location: AustriaPosted: Tue Jul 20, 2010 4:26 pm ---- Thank you, and yea it's an awesome place for a photoshoot always something new on there
(can be a bad thing aswell tho, if you really liked say some elephants that were on the wall, they might have been painted over with aliens next time you come there).

Author: Rascal206, Location: ThanetPosted: Tue Jul 20, 2010 5:08 pm ---- Nice tidy ride there bud, jealous of you having such a great back-drop wall for your pics. All I get on the walls down my way is marker- pen "tags" and a nasty yellow stains at the weekend

In Cornwall I get alot of nice countryside, but as a photographer I prefer a more gritty look if I'm honest, lol. Our Walls are boring!
Nice pics. What camera/lens are you using? A wide angle would look nice!
Sorry if I'm geeking it on the photo talk

I'm using this
It's one of the best pocket cams i've tried myself, even tho it's 5 years old (it's a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX01)
My dad has a really nice nikon tho, with 4 or 5 lenses that i might borrow someday

Haha yea, thing is tho - it's better than some UK-standards 95 octane
Like our 95 octance is better than some of the 99 octane in the UK aswell
new shot i got around uploading today:
#10: Re: Was out playing with the camera tonight.. Author: |SGP|, Location: Truro/Falmouth, CornwallPosted: Wed Jul 21, 2010 12:18 pm ---- That new shot is really nice have you edited it at all? there's not alot of grain for a compact!
I'm using a nikon D90 with a few lenses
#11: Re: Was out playing with the camera tonight.. Author: shaker, Location: AustriaPosted: Wed Jul 21, 2010 2:57 pm ---- Thanks Only edit in that shot is the text
In the first post, nr.1 is unedited. Nr.2 has had 2 birds reflection on the car removed (looked really weird lol), and nr. 3 has been darkened a little and about 5% more contrast as i had been playing a bit too much with my camera settings
Grain is my worst enemy tho, if really strong light it likes to grain a bit or make some anoying stripes (although the stripes are 99% always only in videos), but that's about the only thing wrong with this camera - although it would be nice to have a 100% manual shutter-time function..
I do like the D90 though, my dad had one before he got the one he has now. Easy to use, not too expensive and able to do some magnificent shots
#12: Re: Was out playing with the camera tonight.. Author: -SDC-, Location: DevonPosted: Thu Jul 22, 2010 4:54 am ---- Love Copenhagen, my dad spent many years working for Mersk out there, and I went for the first time last year.
Funnily enough I remember driving past that petrol station! Whats the weather like out there now?
#13: Re: Was out playing with the camera tonight.. Author: shaker, Location: AustriaPosted: Thu Jul 22, 2010 10:38 am ---- Awesome
Although Copenhagen is expensive (as is rest of denmark lol, especially if you're not danish), i still think it's a fantastic city, and my british friends who comes to visit every now and then also likes it alot.
If you've been past that petrol station, you've been less about a 5 min. drive from where i took those pictures
You really have to know it's there, to find that place..
Weather is almost too hot atm, haha.
Been from 26 to 30 degrees celcius the past week, with almost no wind :/
Gonna get a little colder the comming days, so should drop slightly to about 22-25 with a small chance of rain one of the days.. finally
