#33: Re: Peugeot 206 1.6 HDI Quiksilver Author: Goldin, Location: Pula , CroatiaPosted: Sat Nov 03, 2012 2:56 pm ---- Back on Ultraleggera's, and new springs have arrived.
I've changed Eibach Pro-Kit with H&R -35mm springs.
Car in now lowered 35 mm in the front, and the torsion bars are adjusted to match the new height.
Driving has transformed with new springs, and H&R suit Bilstein B8 much better than Eibach. H&R springs are progressive, the car in now more comfortable, and the understeer is reduced.
Eibach Pro-Kit springs are too stiff, because they are made for 2.0 HDI and 1.9 D, much heavier engines compared to 1.6 HDI.
The perfect combination is found: Bilstein B8 + H&R -35

#43: Re: Peugeot 206 1.6 HDI *New wheels* Author: Goldin, Location: Pula , CroatiaPosted: Sun Dec 29, 2013 9:43 am ---- Long time without update here, Peugeot Sport 206 RC Gr.A 21 mm Torsion bars were installed in May, and I am very satisfied with that upgrade, money well spent.
We went on EVO track day on Croatian only racetrack Grobnik, and a few weeks after that, rear right Bilstein leaked and the ride was awful with one "empty" shock so I replaced them with some Kayaba oil shocks for now, but after winter B8 is coming back.
Here are a few summer photos.
And this is how the car looks now on winter setup with Michelin Alpin A4 195/50 15, and Partner/Berlingo OEM steelies 6x15" ET 18.
