#1: Where is my radiator drain plug?? Author: Shaq22, Location: Israel PostPosted: Mon Jul 26, 2010 10:22 pm

Hello everyone!
I wanted to flush my cooling system and I am came into few problems. I was looking for the radiator's drain plug, and just couldn't find it.
By this manual, it shows me the plug is under the radiator to the right. But it seems I don't have this plug.

I was also trying to find it using Peugeot service site. here's a picture shows my radiator. Point C appears to be the drain plug, but in fact it's just another hose.

I really need your help!
Thank you.

You might not have one... mine has snapped off sometime in its past.

As Ben says - take the bottom hose off.... just make sure the engine is cold!

I know I can use the bottom hose. I only afraid it won't come back into place.
My type is 206 1.6 i 16v (TU5JP4, NFU engine). The model called "One Line PK" (I guess it's made for Israel only)

So, i just bought my car, and i was thinking of draining the radiator so i can put brand new coolant in it. Does anyone have a guide with pictures for it? is flushing the cooling system easy or what. Literally i am a NOOB when it comes to stuff with cars, im not stupid lol. Is it just a case of remove the bottom RAD pipe (what ever that is) then filling it back up with water and coolant?

The drain plug is quite handy. Later 206's don't have them becaue they wanted to save some money.
