well i finally got me car back today, upon getting it back (filthy after a supposed wash) i decided to get it back home and wash it.....then noticing further damage i had missed out....spoke to my insurance company and they rang the garage who say the front wing couldnt have been scuffed and dented by the incident, even tho the rear quarter was hit in a parking space, scuffs all the way down the bump strips upto the wing.

so its either a case of i misssed the damage in the first instance.....or the insurance approved garage has caused the damage...not very happy

Well, the insurance approved garage who fixed my gf's brothers old 206 stole the car mats from the car and 4 easter eggs from the boot. I've heard other terrible stories as well!

yeh not impressed they did try to tell me the cracked rear light wasn related to the inncident....even tho rear quarter alloy and bumper were all affected...altho they backed down on that, but u can see the scuff marks all down the side bump strips to the wheel and wing, the alloy to be fair just looks kerbed and not like that was related to the accident.

after speaking to them again, they app have photos to proove it was already like that, but they still think its not related to the inncident

From the way you've written this I'd side with the garage. Scuffs on the wing when the damage was all the way up to the wing?

yes a scratch leadinng all the way down, and then damage on the wing all in a perfect straight line.........and either she ripped f*** out ofmy alloy, or the garage kerbed it to hell

Usually with an insurance job the garage will find every little mark on the car whether it was caused by the accident or you did it before, it's all money in their bank, your happy, their happy and the insurance company pays out. So in my opinion the garage must have done it after they had quoted for the work. Either that or they are really honest....which i doubt

thats my exact theory...as there going to ge paid regardless, im going to give the women who hit the car a call ( as i weren't in the car at the time) to see if she can remember wether or not she hit the wing

so she hit your wing, bounced off and continued to hit the rear quarter on the way by but the front wing was a scrap? I can see the garages reasoning for it not being part of the accident

well i figured it would be part of the accident, but spoke to the lady who did the damage and it wasnt, so its down to them doing it, also kerbing one of my wheels quite considerably....i can easily tell nothing will come of it, but ah well
