I'd just like to thank everyone who showed up. everyone took part, everyone pitched in to help others, we also wished iain's girlfriend Charlotte a happy birthday. the owners of the site didn't have any complaints about us, and there was a group that were louder than us. says something lol. but the owners said they hope to see us again.

#39: Re: Summer Camping Meet 2010. Author: Golfguy206, Location: PeterboroughPosted: Sun Aug 01, 2010 2:03 pm ---- Great weekend, glad to have met those who came - your all part of my extended family now. Here are my pix...
Weather was intermitant between wet and sunny. Lots of sheep and cows to keep Wagsy and Kencoboy happy (he he, only joking!)
Then there was the abduction of WAGSY/"Graham" - unfortunatly I didnt see the shennanagans going on but I have seen the pics - just too funny for words!
HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY CHARLOTTE!!! Yes, thats right! She opted to spend her 21st birthday in a field in Buxton with a bunch of almost complete strangers - much respect for choosing to do that with us - hope you enjoyed yourself, shame you and Ian had to leave so early.
Much respect to Twed for the BBQ - must have been ok because we aint dead yet!
Big shout out to Tammy (aka Totty) for bringing Hariet, Jo, and Alex (the West end girls) along to the meet (first time campers?) - your welcome anytime ladies!!
I would also like to welcome a new intern into the fellowship of 206 info members - Puggy XDT. At present he drives a 106 (Boooooooo! ), but he is aspiring to buy his next car, a 206 of all things!
We suitably "hazed" him as often as possible, (body-art with a ball point, fake Stick-On tattoo "Tramp Stamp"style, and Kencogirl's attempt at Retro styling his T-Shirt from "DIESEL" to "I SELL" and an arrow pointing and his man thingy!!).
His car was very abused and was fondly named the "Toilet Taxi" because we were on thew bottom field and the toilets at the top, we used his car to do toilet runs to and from the toilet block. The car survived multiple attempts at drunken tomfoolery (no drink driving at any point may I add).
Puggy - you have been a good sport after everything we did to you - you will fit in with the 206info crowd just right mate!!
A BIG thanks to everyone who helped us dismantle our portable "home" - was just as much fun doing that as the rest of the weekend.
There were some sudden and unexpected "man love"moments that errupted - didnt realise Simon, Twed, Shaw, Tom D, and Kencoboy were like that???
[
I will be briniging it along to the next meet and your all welcome to sleep in the "Conservatory", the "Living Room", or the "VIP Bedroom" - for a price!! he he !
On a final note, Thanks to Wagsy for organinsing the whole event - well done pal, you are one of my favorite Scots.
Look forward to seeing you all very soon! Last edited by Golfguy206 on Sun Aug 01, 2010 4:04 pm; edited 6 times in total

cruise control for the win. I stopped once from Lancaster services. my legs were free to move while the car was driving, lol.
#91: Re: Summer Camping Meet 2010. Author: Abzynthe, Posted: Mon Aug 02, 2010 8:42 am ---- Ah, so you would have had more fuel if you didnt use criuse control

I find it a bit weird using it and having my legs free never know what to do with them lol
#94: Re: Summer Camping Meet 2010. Author: Abzynthe, Posted: Mon Aug 02, 2010 9:11 am ---- Meh, i believe what i read
#95: Re: Summer Camping Meet 2010. Author: wagsy206, Location: Coatbridge, LanarkshirePosted: Mon Aug 02, 2010 9:35 am ---- i just thought it was good to go from lancaster to glasgow with just 1 stop and be able to move my legs about the foot well.
playing nots and crosses on the mats. i kept losing though
#96: Re: Summer Camping Meet 2010. Author: Abzynthe, Posted: Mon Aug 02, 2010 9:46 am ---- hahaha, we only made one stop, and that was only to wait for people that never turned up
#97: Re: Summer Camping Meet 2010. Author: wagsy206, Location: Coatbridge, LanarkshirePosted: Mon Aug 02, 2010 10:00 am ---- lol. we stopped for a burger king, and an hours rest at lancaster services.
i got home to my fiancee's boy waiting patiently by the window. the minute he seen my car, he was over the moon, then the baby heard my voice and started kicking maries insides senseless.
it was an amazing weekend, and if i do have time to make it next year, even for one night, ill try. but ill need to bring my pop up tent as simon will want to get to sleep with my alias "Graham"
#98: Re: Summer Camping Meet 2010. Author: Abzynthe, Posted: Mon Aug 02, 2010 10:06 am ---- lol, we waited at the cat and fiddle pub for 45 minutes befoore carrying on. we had 70 miles of roads very similar to the cat and fiddle, and it was the most relaxing drive home iv had for a long time
I hope you do get to come next year, you were a right laugh, and you helped me charge my rape alarm
Ooooooh btw, for the people organising next years meet, would it be cool if they signed up to my local car club and put a thread up there when they organise it?
I know its an info meet, but i am feeling like taking advantage of the fact that anyone could come
I know its a year away so you probably arent organising it yet. but our local site is, A1Cruisers
