    ----
My cigarette lighter broke, even after changing fuses so I have disconnected it and have bought this one from halfords.

How do I install it as there is a connector that just plugged into the one I disconnected see below.

Any help would be apprecaited as I need it to working by Monday to power my GPS.

Is the one from Halfords just two wires, a positive and a negative?
If so, just cut the connector off and wire it up to the +12volts and the earth

IIRC the blue wire is positive, there is also a green and a thin blue wire, I think the green in negative/ground and the thin blue must be the + for the light,

there's a green & yellow one which is the ground I think and then there's a thin grey/blue & a pink one too? Not sure which is which!

Also, could I hook up 2 cigarette lighters to the wires or would I need to change the fuse?

The pink one is the +12volts

You could wire two cigarette lighters into it, but it might blow the fuse if you run things off it that use a lot of power
