#1: THE SW PROJECT Author: AMYSW, Location: wellington, somersetPosted: Sun Aug 08, 2010 9:01 am ---- Hi im amy ive been on here a while so thought id post a project thread, its nothing major just a family car orientainted project as my partner has the full on project car. so, the car is a 2002 1.4 sw 68,000 mile i paid £600 for it damaged, i had to put a quarter panel, bootlid and rear bumper on but was easy fix really.
so far ive only serviced it and stuck new clutch and cambelt kit and aux belt on it mechanically wise, other than that ive put the chrome interior doot handles in and dash vents, and ive also got the alloy gear knob and pedals from a gti
few pics from today, took of the roof bars and cleaned about an inch of dirt out of the gutters had a good find too, it looks like i can fit electric mirrors all the plugs are there just need the mirrors and the switch.

plan is for later spec wider front wings, a sport bumper colour coded top half too and lowered on coilovers over sum wide wheels maybe 7.5 or 8 x 15 or 16s and a thule roof basket, going for the squat low look without spending lots of money
