#1: side stripes Author: saiefovech, Location: TuNisIePosted: Mon Aug 09, 2010 5:16 am ---- hello ,, ihad removed the side door stripes for color coding them ,, but i realized that i had mixed them ,, so now i dont know what stripes for right door or for left ,, my question now is that stripes will fit the same side of door ?? i mean i the stripe for left i can put it on right and vise versa .. thnx
#2: Re: side stripes Author: Harry, Location: StaffordPosted: Mon Aug 09, 2010 5:20 am ---- Is it a 3 door? there's 4 parts to it but only 2 different types.
Like there's 2 front which are the longer ones and go on the doors and two smaller ones which go on the rear quarter pannel. Being right or left makes no difference.
The same applys for 5 doors but not sure on lengths.
Hope that helps and was what you were after.

#10: Re: side stripes Author: Mike, Posted: Mon Aug 09, 2010 5:44 am ---- No they are sided.
I made this mistake when I did mine. The door is angled ever so slightly so when you put the wrong one on the wrong side the door will be at \ angle but the strip at / angle, if that makes sence.
#11: Re: side stripes Author: Harry, Location: StaffordPosted: Mon Aug 09, 2010 5:58 am ---- Actually a really good point completely forgot about that, check first.
#12: Re: side stripes Author: saiefovech, Location: TuNisIePosted: Mon Aug 09, 2010 6:08 am ---- lets see others what they say about it
#13: Re: side stripes Author: Mike, Posted: Mon Aug 09, 2010 6:18 am ---- Just line two upto your door and see how they look, 1 will look odd and one will fit.

#17: Re: side stripes Author: Mike, Posted: Mon Aug 09, 2010 7:28 am ---- Open your drivers/passenger door and take a picture of the car close up of the back door hinge.
#18: Re: side stripes Author: saiefovech, Location: TuNisIePosted: Mon Aug 09, 2010 7:46 am ---- you cannot kmow from that pic ?
#19: Re: side stripes Author: Mike, Posted: Mon Aug 09, 2010 7:59 am ---- No. The bit where it would show is where the two doors meet.
Where the front of the strip goes over the lip is where the angle would show if it is wrong.
#20: Re: side stripes Author: saiefovech, Location: TuNisIePosted: Mon Aug 09, 2010 8:35 am ---- the problem is not in the rear one iam talking about the front stripes !!
#21: Re: side stripes Author: Mike, Posted: Mon Aug 09, 2010 12:47 pm ---- It's the same principle!
See if the angle lines up where it goes round the corner!
#22: Re: side stripes Author: Harry, Location: StaffordPosted: Mon Aug 09, 2010 1:38 pm ---- Ok god I'm completely confused now :S
Front and rear are DIFFERENT
2 out of the 4 side parts are THE SAME and so are the other 2.
Just see if they fit, if they don't then they are the wrong ones and if they do, they are right. What's the problem?
#23: Re: side stripes Author: Mike, Posted: Mon Aug 09, 2010 2:13 pm ---- The strips are sided, this is what he isn't understanding I don't think :S

2 of each so 4 in total LENGTH wise they probably won't fit due to the angle.
