#1: Best place to Jack up the pug Author: Lowercase, Location: East SussexPosted: Thu Aug 12, 2010 7:32 am ---- Fitting my new susspension this weekend, got all the kit i need finaly, and a mate.
wheres the best place to jack up the front and back with a trolley jack so i can get the axel stands under the sill jacking points. ?
#2: Re: Best place to Jack up the pug Author: Iain, Location: Aberdeen, ScotlandPosted: Thu Aug 12, 2010 7:34 am ---- I jack it up using the points that you want to put axle stands under.
#3: Re: Best place to Jack up the pug Author: Harry, Location: StaffordPosted: Thu Aug 12, 2010 7:36 am ---- Without much knowledge I do the rear on the part next to the shocks (attached too the frame) and on the fron't on a small plate just inwards of each of the springs. Never had a problem with them.
#4: Re: Best place to Jack up the pug Author: richpowell91, Location: Melton Mowbray LeicestershirePosted: Thu Aug 12, 2010 7:40 am ---- I always try to jack it up under any strong part of the chasis and then put the axle stands under the subframe close to where the wishbones are mounted, as ive found the sill jacking points are a bit flimsy. Not sure where to jack it up under for the rear though so would also be interested in where people do.

Maybe my jack is just masseeeve.
