#1: Suspension parts Author: Davels, Location: NorfolkPosted: Fri Aug 13, 2010 9:19 am ---- Hi all,
I've decided to get some work done on the front end of my 2.0 CC due to the irritating knocking from the suspension somewhere.
I've ask a lot of questions on the problems section and it would suggest that either my wishbones or top mounts are kapuut!
What I need to know is,
What part do i get changed on the top mount, some people have called it a bearing, some people called it a bush or rubber mount?! so i'm a little confused.
Also where would you guys recommend picking these up?
Does anyone have any useful weblinks or price guides etc.
On the wishbone side of things i know i need to get ones for the CC as the normal 206's won't fit.
Again does anyone have any links or prices for these?
I've been told not to get cheap ebay ones and go for maybe Lemforder?
And help or advice would be great.
Thanks

Put you plate it and your car will come up OR give them a ring (like i did) tell them what you want and you car reg and they'll get it in for you real quick.
PS these were the cheapest i could find at £40ish the pair. All the other MF's i tried (about 6) all wanted £40+ per side, Peugeot were even cheaper that the MF's

You say you got a top mount kit? what did that include? I searched and got 2 results. One simply saying top mount @ £13.80 or something and the other again just saying top mount for £43. Which one do i need and whats included? why the massive difference in price??!
Also looked and the wishbones and they don't do lemforder ones for the 206 cc. but they have some others for £53 which isn't bad.
Although there is a seller on ebay selling a full front end wishbone kit (the pair) including bushes and new droplinks for £80 would this be alright. They are fully EU marked ones too. So have to meet manufacturing standards.
