The other possibility is the socket connecting to the ipod. My old ipod used to disconnect if I was doing some 'spirited' driving.

I've done everything I can possibility think to get it to work, I've disconnected the stereo as well. I've checked all connections etc.
I've even reformatted my Ipod from HFS+ to Fat32 to see if that made a difference.

#9: Re: Connects 2 - Ipod interface help? Author: danhodson, Location: Derby, UKPosted: Tue Aug 17, 2010 1:16 pm ---- I've tried doing an auto sync to see if it helped but apparently. Grr..

Author: Brian, Location: VVT Land, FifePosted: Tue Aug 17, 2010 1:21 pm ---- The boxes on the connects 2 stuff are well known in halfords anyway for the boxes being pretty useless Nice when they work though. I thought i was being an idiot one day..I likewise i had a 59 plate Ford Focus, had it to bits, it was charging and I could control the Ipod but i couldn't get it to function through the Ford head unit.
#11: Re: Connects 2 - Ipod interface help? Author: danhodson, Location: Derby, UKPosted: Tue Aug 17, 2010 2:04 pm ---- ugh, thought it was too good to be true maybe a new box will sort the issue? Really annoyed! Tried an ipod 3g aswell as a 5g!
worst customer service ever, and now I've got to wait for them to receive the faulty item before they send me a replacement... Some times I hate internet purchases, so much waiting around.

I've got one of these units in my accord and I can't fault it. It has room for expansion as well like USB flashdrives and Bluetooth handsfree. It's in the region of £70 for the accord, but I don't know if the pug one is different.
