did my rear bars and i think it might be a bit too much too low ?

the front is allready on -40mm springs so looks like i'd need -60mm front springs to level the car out

or i could add 20mm to the rear and leave it at that and atleast this time everythings all cleaned , greased and bloody moveable Smile

Add 20mm to the rear. Probably look better as well.

I would also say add 20mm at the back, however, that doesn't look like a 40mm at the front either. When did you fit the front springs? Could be that they need to be 'bedded' in for it to sit lower.

Mine sits about this low, and if you ever plan on taking passengers in the rear seat, it's too low!

You could of course think about messing about with the arches like my mate keeps telling me he's going to do...

fitted spax 40mm springs a few month back when fitted gti shocks and replaced top brearings.

it had the stoopid pulling/swerving when changeing gear on motorway so basicly all front suspension, wishbones, wheel & suspension bearings, track rod ends, droplinks the lot all got replaced . . . and yup it stopped the swerving Smile

dont think it helps on the front with it being a non sports wing Sad

good luck Smile I need to get round to doing my torsion bars.. too high on mine! Definitely looks too low on yours... Are the rims 16 or 17"?? Looks about a 30mm drop on the front. same as mine which to be honest, improves the ride significantly without being silly.

finaly got around to re doing my rear bars and this is how it sits now.

deffo gonna have to get 180 arb and torsions to get it to sit right/tight as the set up thats on it is too soft.

only found 1 place where it could rub but grinders gonna take care of thet once the suns back out Smile

Looks better than it did before. My perfectionism wants it to be up a bit more at the back to level it out though lol.

Maybe bring the front down a tiny bit and it'll look spot on.
