Air horn help!

I mean wire the horn in and burn the switch on the steering wheel. I will go have another look I couldn't see a fuse marked F5. they were just numbers, no letters

53. I have a 15A fuse in the bottom right hand corner but its not F5

Finally got some cable. wired it directly to the old horn and put a 30A fuse in. Thanks for the info guys. Saved myself a lot of time and wire Very Happy

Excellent. Horns save lives btw.

I would go for 25A fuse (white or clear) when you have one.
This is specified as an option in the manual and you would
be doing things by the book then.

argh!!! you NEED a relay in the wire!

i learned the hard way on my old 106 when the stalk started smoking trying to melt :S

relays are really easy to put in when i get home and onto proper internet i'll draw a picture for you and post it up

also as an added bonus a horn plugging into a relay can use the full amperage of the battery so it's louder Wink

No, the 206 already has a relay for the horn, confirmed. (see thread)
It would be pointless to add another relay in this case.

EDIT: I know this because I took your warning very seriously
when I was fitting mine and it turned out there already was one.
So cheers to ExoVyper for the heads up.
