#31: Re: CAR SWAP WHAT DO YOU THINK Author: Edward, Location: In the garagePosted: Mon Aug 30, 2010 9:19 am ---- What engine is in the Nova? If it's got an XE or 2.0 Ecotec it might be a good bit of weekend fun.
#32: Re: CAR SWAP WHAT DO YOU THINK Author: Brian, Location: VVT Land, FifePosted: Mon Aug 30, 2010 9:25 am ---- come on folks...we all know the 206 is just as bad for chavs as the saxo!
If you did the swap - it would make for a terrible daily driver, but as something to drive now and then it would be great. I have a soft spot for a clean nova. Overall though the 206 is the much better all-rounder. Or do the swap and buy an older 206 diesel? It might have to be a 1.9d though
#33: Re: CAR SWAP WHAT DO YOU THINK Author: Edward, Location: In the garagePosted: Mon Aug 30, 2010 9:54 am ---- All small cars go through phases of being a bit chavvy. After a while though seeing one out and about is a good thing. How many genuinely clean Novas or even early Corsas are about? If it's a nice clean GSi then garage it and bring it out in a few years time and it will be appreciated.

I used to own a corsa 1.2 that was a horrible everyday car and that was standard mind you it went for miles on a £5er of fuel where my on gti180 will barley get too the shops lol
#37: Re: CAR SWAP WHAT DO YOU THINK Author: 110rolandgarros, Location: swindonPosted: Fri Sep 10, 2010 4:31 am ---- nova are for chavs who cant afford a better car dont do it ull regret it

#39: Re: CAR SWAP WHAT DO YOU THINK Author: Jordan_xsi, Location: IpswichPosted: Fri Sep 10, 2010 5:46 am ---- They can be done subtly and looks really nice but for practical reasons deffinatly not, i couldnt get on without the modern features the pug has. if you can have both then do it but if not deffinatly dont do it!
#40: Re: CAR SWAP WHAT DO YOU THINK Author: Danw_VVT, Location: Herts/LondonPosted: Fri Sep 10, 2010 5:49 am ---- cousin owns a nova SR. good car to have a laugh in but he p**ses and moans about having to drive it daily.
#41: Re: CAR SWAP WHAT DO YOU THINK Author: sillyhilly, Location: The Mean Streets of CoventryPosted: Fri Sep 10, 2010 5:49 am ---- The fact you're even asking this question makes me think you're not fit to own a 206. Get out now, and never come back!
Hell, get a saxo and i'd have more respect for you left!

#45: Re: Car Swap What Do You Think? Author: Seb, Location: Under your bedPosted: Fri Sep 10, 2010 6:49 am ---- Ugh, come on was that a serious question? A nova? Over what? At least get a decent car if you're upgrading (and not downgrading).
