Cheers G Smile I did try getting in touch with the guy selling the 15" nimrods but got no reply, I was told by the garage that my gear box should be ok on these being as I do not stress the revs out of it anyway Smile

Thanks for the comments mate its nice to hear people like the changes Smile

My paints have arrived and I'm part way through doing the centre caps, I'm waiting on the chrome spray to be delivered before I can finish the hob. There will be a lot of masking so I'm taking photos as I go so I can put a mini-how to on here. The chrome nut covers came too and I've put them on, they look great but they don't fix onto the lockers so I may have to improvise on that to get it to stay on somehow

I want to de-badge the 'Look' stickers from my door as they are catching on the clothes when I wash and wax the car anyway, but I'm unsure if they are actually pinned on or not, next purchase for the car will be some metal door sill strips, but not the 206 ones Wink

Small Update

Got my chrome bolt caps on, something is missing...

Here it is Smile

How I sprayed them

1. The caps as they were looking worse for wear
2. Sanded down and primed
3. After light sanding a coat of graphite spray
4. Given another coat and stencil cut before chrome spray. The stencil taken ages to make, I made it on paint shop and printed and cut it out. After the chrome was sprayed on, I noticed some spray over onto the graphite area so I used clingfilm to cover the chrome so I could correct it.

Always read the back of the can on the chrome as when you put lacquer on it turns into silver instead (ask me how I know this! Embarassed )

They turned out darker than the wheels but I think it looks better for it. Cheers for looking

Not really an update but just some plans.

My old steelies went today for £51.01.. and they told me I wouldnt shift them! Razz

After an old man opening his door into my car I have two little indents about 1mm wide each on my quarter panel.. like stone chips. Thats all the damage I can find, Hopefully it is as close to the arches as I remember it, that way I could just get some SP arch covers on to cover it Smile good excuse

I am looking for another SP fuel cap so that I can paint it to match my wheels. My multiline display (PPt30 is it?) is in my room at the minute, I sprayed the cover of it in Ford Graphite and I am going to change the LCD display from blue to red

Small Update

Hope you all had a nice Christmas Smile

Can you spot the difference?

I found the exact colour match to my wheels by coincedence, done this on a spare one I bought to see if it suits the colour of the wheels, which I think it does Smile I might strip the centre caps on my wheels and re do them to match

Cars looking sweet as fella! It's amazing how a set of alloys and getting them sprayed change the look of the car. Great work mate keep it up :)!

Thanks very much guys Smile I want to get rid of the Look badges on the doors, and maybe in the summer I might paint the calipers red

Small Update

I taken advantage of the mildly ok weather yesterday and cracked on with my calipers, they were looking a bit rusty in places so a good wire brush down and lick of paint sorted them out. Excuse the dirty car!

I would have taken the cheesy 'Look' badges off the doors too but some one has taken off with my can of sticky stuff remover

After being given a damn good wash, the 'look' badges taken off and the addition of styled mud flaps, here is how it is now:

I'm in two minds about the mudflaps, and after being on for only a week one has been pierced by a stick that was in the road, glad it was only that rather than my paintwork Smile

I noticed that my SP badge was hanging on by a single thread of adhesive, and the badge itself was falling apart. After unsuccessfully attempting to salvage it, I decided to have a go at making my own rather than pay £12 for a new one.

It needs a background before its finished, which will probably be white and similar to the old one I had.

My next plan is to buy a spare speedo binnacle and trim it in the black leatherette I have on the outer part, with red faux suede on the inner part. If it looks crap then I will still have my normal one Smile

The calipers will have another coat in the summer, and I am also planning a change of alloys - I have two styles in mind and they are official peugeot, not been done very often but thats all I'm giving away Wink

The nimrods will be kept as winter wheels

I'm joining in on the osram nightbreakers group buy so hopefully my car shall be looking very badarse indeed
