Since posting my refurb progress on facebook, people keep asking me if I will respray their alloys >< Hell no! Taken 2 ti 3 hours prepping each wheel before any spraying, and I'm still not happy with it so they will be going to powdercoaters soon

Not really an update, dipped beam blown so I changed both with some halfords blue laser ones, I'm happy with them they look much better considering Smile

I did think about being lazy with the Tempests and vinyl wrapping them, but I will stick to my word and get them properly refurbed when I can

Other than that I have made the car look exactly how I want it to, and there's not much else I have in mind for it. I can't be bothered with lowering it, since its black it 'hides' the arch gap better than lighter colours I've been told. Will see if I can get the front mudflaps resprayed when I take the alloys somewhere, as the rattle can job I done hasn't lasted - the very reason I'm getting the wheels powdercoated Smile

After that I will just swap between the Nimrods and Tempests every 6 months, and just a case of keeping my paintwork nice and the car running nicely. I will come back with photos of the alloys done up

I sold the tempests to a member on here in the end, I knew I couldn't make up my mind but decided to keep my nimrods

In fairness I don't update this anymore lol

Na I know mate. But I stumbled on this in a search was hoping to get lucky and find someone selling them tempests, or even the dark nimrods Smile

The tempests were on ebay for a week with no bids, and suicidalsoldi3r dibbed them afterwards

The only thing that might pry me from my nimrods would be 17" oz supertourismos lol

Thanks guys Smile

Some idiot hit my wing mirror and didn't stop, so I have been painting them pearlescent black and I'm going up my mates later to get a couple bits of 3m carbon wrap from him, if I'm going to tart them up I might as well 180ify them

I've noticed that whoever powdercoated my Nimrods didn't match the wheels very well, so they will be getting done by City soon enough because their anthracite colour is lovely, when the tread wears low enough to warrant new tyres anyway. The valeting business has done well this week, and when I pass my course for my main career in February I should have more funds to play with on the car. For now I'm just saving Wink

It turns out I cannot carbon wrap for all the tea in china, so I painted the caps Rover Gunmetal, main wing mirror is Java black which has nice red/orange pearl flake in it in sunlight
