#1: Push button start fitted to my car :) Author: andy952, Location: IpswichPosted: Sun Aug 29, 2010 3:41 am ---- Yesturday me and my mate decided to do a little investigation of how to get a push button start in my 206. I now have an accesorries button in the cigarette compartment which allows my speakers/headunit/wipers/windows etc to work. Then I have the immobilizer on the left of the steering wheel. And also a hidden switch which allows the ignition lights to be turned on. To allow starting of the car the key has to be placed on the immobilizer and then the switch flicked, then you can put your keys wherever you want too and press the button and the engine will start.
For me i think it's more secure as you can't enter the car without the keys, you can't start the car without putting the key on the immobilizer, also you must know where the hidden switch is.

Was also thinking, put a switch/button in the slot next to the button which enables/disables the ultrasonic sensors (Next to the handbrake) to turn power on to my amp which powers the subs.
Cheers, Frenchie

But we just kind of worked it out as we went along lol. We used 4 relays, and 2 switches and the push button. I could fit it for anyone if you want for abit of cash :).
