GTi 180, best front brake pads?

I recently bought some front pads and discs for my 180, and went cheap and cheerful, cost me £50 for a set of front discs and pads. Now Im regretting going so cheap as the damn things wont stop squealing.

Ive had them apart twice and given them a full servicing, (filing down the brake pad seats, cleaning the metal clips, copper grease etc )and it quietens them down albeit not for long.

So, which pads and possibly discs do people recommend? I used to have mintex on an old 205 GTi and they were brilliant.

I replaced mine with Mintex just before FCS this year... I got discs and pads all round for £92 delivered! Very Happy

They seem fine to me although I haven't been too far in it Very Happy
