Is there such thing as 1.1 sport? Are you sure it's not just a "sport" sticker someone's just stuck to the back of the car?

I don't think any 1.1s come with sports arches tbh.

Phone a Peugeot dealership and tell them you registration plate and they should tell you which parts your car has as standard i.e. sports or non sports arches.

"Sport" is just something Peugeot attaches to some modles to help sell cars Wink

A 1.1 will be non sport wings with sports bumpers I expect

1.1 with sports bumpers sounds stupid to me aswell lol. I don't even know if any 1.1s have front fogs. If they do that would just p*** me off even more about my crappy Eco car Laughing

Sport arches: www.carpages.co.uk/peu..._05_04.asp

Non sport: www.google.co.uk/imgre...9,r:12,s:0

If those links work you should be able to see how the sports arches stick out a bit more just above the wheel. It makes the car more beefy, as it has bigger shoulders.

I've just noticed aswell that when people write in text it doesn't really save that much time for them but it takes much longer to read than if it were written correctly in proper English.

haha no mate I was in the big city. Well, a big city in Nort Wales terms.
Actually, the city I was in was actually a valley apparently, where a river that used to be there corroded some land. I lived at the bottom of a big hill and on the other side of the hill was a sort of mountain thing so it was deep in the valley Very Happy

it would save you a lot of time if you just rang peugeot and gave them your reg, they will tell you straight away. people prefer it on here if you take abit of time to try and sort things yourself before you ask, obviously people are happy to help but this could be sorted in a 5 minute phone call Smile

To clear things up.. The 206 1.1 (1124cc) came in the following models.

L, LX, Style, Look, Look 2, Verve, Entice, Feaver, S, Independance, Zest, Zest 2, Zest 3, Sport

None of them had more or less power than another, it was all exterior and interior styling differences.

Seems you didn't either.

Sport is merely a trim level, hardly justified on a 1.4 never mind a 1.1, however....just because your trim level is Sport, doesn't mean you have Sport arches!

Seems Peugeot can't even tell you that right enough so I doubt we'd be able to Wink

nick i have seen u and your car for myself hun, when i met u in town. your car has sports bumpers but the wings are non flared in other words there non-sports. you will need to get non-sports arches. i did tell u this when i met u and showed you they were the same as my pug, as ours wernt sports either. i also stated if you were only a week earlier you could have baught mine as they were non-sports but someone else inquired about them beforehand.

so you need non-sports arches.

if you want me to check again i can meet u in town on the weekend and have another look. i could also take pics and put them up on this thread then for confirmation if u do not wish to take my word
