#1: 2.0 GTI door jam/step fallen off Author: smartyh, Location: LONDON PostPosted: Wed Sep 01, 2010 1:50 pm

Hi,

Have noticed (since the wife's been using the car) that the silver/alluminium door step has fallen off. The sticky stuff has well and trully gone.

Anyone got any recommendations on what to use to restick the step back on?

Many thanks,

Pritstick.

EDIT: Door sill? Try a bonding agent. Tiger seal is very strong, not sure if that will work, should do. (People use it to stick spoiler to the boot).

Maybe easier for me - sure halfords will have some of them.

Many thanks,

just buy the number plate stickers, they are roughly £2.49 FROM halfords and they are nice and easy to use
