I apologise now if i'm moaning about nothing but i'm a bit shocked after finding this on ebay whilst searching for some GTI 180 alloys for my pug, in my opinion even though they've been refurbed and 2 of the tyres will need replacing, isn't this VERY expensive?

That price seems about right, but if I was to make an offer it would be £480 max.

I swear I've seen decent sets with tyres got for 350 - 450 so I think it is a bit...

It is a lot of money considering the state of the rubber i suppose on second thoughts.
Defo room for negotiation depending how urgent the sale is.

still seems expensive for a secondhand set of wheels to me
for that much id buy a brand new set of prorace 1.2s
in fact i added up the price of 4 new tyres and a refurb for mine and it was not much difference so a nice silver set will be making there way onto mine once iv got my moneys worth out of the tyres Smile

So, out of interest, how much would people pay for a freshly refurbed (not driven on) set of Vortex rims, as opposed to a second hand set in reasonable condition?

for a freshly refurbed set with good tyres on i wouldnt pay more than £400
i know they are "worth" more because everyone wants them but i just think anymore than that is a lot of money for wheels that arnt brand spanking new tbh
