#1: Bloody expensive!!! Author: MattyP, Location: PlymouthPosted: Fri Sep 03, 2010 9:41 am ---- I apologise now if i'm moaning about nothing but i'm a bit shocked after finding this on ebay whilst searching for some GTI 180 alloys for my pug, in my opinion even though they've been refurbed and 2 of the tyres will need replacing, isn't this VERY expensive?
#2: Re: Bloody expensive!!! Author: CD-B3, Location: Salisbury / New ForestPosted: Fri Sep 03, 2010 9:44 am ---- That price seems about right, but if I was to make an offer it would be £480 max.
#3: Re: Bloody expensive!!! Author: Locky, Location: Newcastle / PlymouthPosted: Fri Sep 03, 2010 9:45 am ---- Doesnt seem that bad price wise to me.
#4: Re: Bloody expensive!!! Author: MattyP, Location: PlymouthPosted: Fri Sep 03, 2010 9:50 am ---- thought i was moaning about nothing so is it possible to get a set around £350 providing thats local or with delivery?

#7: Re: Bloody expensive!!! Author: Locky, Location: Newcastle / PlymouthPosted: Fri Sep 03, 2010 10:08 am ---- It is a lot of money considering the state of the rubber i suppose on second thoughts.
Defo room for negotiation depending how urgent the sale is.

Author: jase123, Location: yorkshirePosted: Fri Sep 03, 2010 10:45 am ---- bloody hell at first glance i fort they was £350 lol so i fort whats all the fuss about? after second glance a realised they was £550. very pricey lol, mine might be for sale in a month or so hving two new tyas tmz and the back are in near new condition, thw will need a refurbish tho
#9: Re: Bloody expensive!!! Author: rttam, Location: devonPosted: Fri Sep 03, 2010 11:01 am ---- still seems expensive for a secondhand set of wheels to me
for that much id buy a brand new set of prorace 1.2s
in fact i added up the price of 4 new tyres and a refurb for mine and it was not much difference so a nice silver set will be making there way onto mine once iv got my moneys worth out of the tyres
#10: Re: Bloody expensive!!! Author: Locky, Location: Newcastle / PlymouthPosted: Fri Sep 03, 2010 11:05 am ---- So, out of interest, how much would people pay for a freshly refurbed (not driven on) set of Vortex rims, as opposed to a second hand set in reasonable condition?
#11: Re: Bloody expensive!!! Author: rttam, Location: devonPosted: Fri Sep 03, 2010 11:07 am ---- for a freshly refurbed set with good tyres on i wouldnt pay more than £400
i know they are "worth" more because everyone wants them but i just think anymore than that is a lot of money for wheels that arnt brand spanking new tbh
