well was time to get away from my 1998 106 1.1 , she had 126,000 on the clock no service in the last 45,000 miles, needed new front end ( bought it after it was in an accident) nothing serious just cosmetic but needed something newer that didnt need £1200 spent in it!

R.I.P LuLu

she was my everyday car as u can see i have many cars for the other occasions of course Wink

so dad knowing a few ppl got this baby down from £7995 with 19,000 on the clock to £5250 with my old 106 traded in

well this is how i picked her up

unfortunately the private plate didnt come with Sad

so the first thing to do was get some alloys on her, we happened to have a set of the LTD edition 1997 colin Mcrae 16" OZ super T's off mums RS turbo

next thing was audio so stuck in some vibe black air 6's run by JBL GTO75.2 amp

and sub at that time was a JBL GTO 15" run by a JBL GTO 7001E mono block (both amps powered by 2X fli 1500watt wire kits)

was bought a chrismas present of TSW apex alloys due to the Oz giving problems with fitment

and then ones snow had taken its toll on the paint i decided to refurb them,

unfortunately 1/2 way through this happened

which damaged the wheel and no longer can be repaired

also to add on 15/08/10 i had a slight accident, i then needed new bonnet, new windscreen, new wipers, new vent, and then some general body work most if fixed but will still take time
and this is how she stands currently:

mods:
16" axia hockenhiem wheels in gun metal centre
195/45/R16 Toyo T1R tyres
Cherry bomb 3.5" back box
Air filter
Custom plates from demon plates
purple interior footwell neons (american import)
blue roof strobes
black vinyled roof
pioneer DEH 5200SD headunit
audison 4guage wire kit
JBL GTO 7001E mono block (soon to be changed)
JBL GTO 75.2 2 channel (soon to be changed)
rainbow SLX 265 components (to be fitted)
12" ported JL audio sub
Evo K9 wingmirrors
gloss black bonnet
tinted rear lights
5LED purple sidelights
2 x H7 xenon setup bulbs

Future plans:
smooth front bumper
smooth rear bumper
de-lock all doors
smooth boot
vinyl black roof
colour rocker cover
de-cat
colour calipers and drums
lower 60mm&70mm
badgeless grill
GTI spoiler
2 new amps
2nd 12" sub
change headlights
splitter
tint rear windows
alarm

thats all i can think of for now but that will take me a while haha

cheers
paul
