#1: Proect FPS Author: _Jay_, Location: LutonPosted: Wed Feb 17, 2010 10:52 am ---- The reason its called project FPS is simple. Alot of people have a dislike of French cars, so FPS stands for French Piece of s**t lol.
Right I bought my 206 nearly two years ago now. Its a 1.4 8v, and had only 5500 miles on it at the time. Over time I did a few bits to it like put my alloys on, tint the windows, chuck in the gti interior, fit some speakers etc.
However the car got broken in to outside my ex's house and I lost heart in the car. However back in January the car was in a slight crash in the snow, and was in need of repair. I had bought a bodykit just before it was broken in to, but never fitted it because to be fair, it was s**t. It was quite weak, rough n the edges etc. Well I decided it was time to fit it, so got a mate to strengthen it and fit it.
Now its on, and is looking very good. Just to paint it now lol. Also got some angel eyes courtesy of Mrs_Howey and they look good on it, especially at night with the car being pretty much black at the front.
Still to do is refurb the wheels, fit the lowering springs, re do the window tints, fit my Recaros and harnesses, fit all the speakers back in again, and get a decent alarm fitted.
Will get some pictures up later when im back from work as well so you can see how it looked and how it currently looks. Last edited by _Jay_ on Thu Mar 25, 2010 3:58 pm; edited 1 time in total

Never was too keen on kits myself, but quite liked the front bumper and side skirts, and rear bumper is alright lol. Also the car has been delocked, and I have a Gti spoiler still t go on as well. Going to be keeping the bonnet black for the time being, and then going to get a carbon bonnet in the future i think.

Here is how the car looked shortly after buying it/ I started with the mods pretty much straight away. On went my 17" TSW's, tinted the windows myself. Colour coded the bump strips, door handles, rear boot strip, mear caps, and even the wiper cover. Also in went all of my speakers etc, and the Gti interior I had.
Heres a few pictures of it with my mates old Clio. Some one had decided to try and nick the wiper cover, but broke it in the process
And here is two poor quality shots of it outside Wembley, but thats because the camera on my phone is uselss. Got some other pictures from my little london journey saved some where so will dig them out at some point lol
Then came the dreaded accident
Damage didnt look too bad at first, but was a little worse than we first thought
So after the accident it was time to get the car sorted out. Within days of it, I had my new lights turn up courtesy of Mrs_Howey
And then to see how the kit would look on the car
The grill that came with the kit looked really bad so fitting the standard one back on
Here it is when it was in the workshop. As you can see its all in primer here. The kit has been smoothed in, the locks have been taken out and smoothed off.
And here is the lights at night
Still to do to the car is:
paint it, although keeping the bonnet black and will then replace it with a carbon one at some point
Fit the spoiler
Fit a decent alarm
Fit the speakers
Lower the car
Fit the Recaros and the harnesses
Went a bit over the top with these, as they are 6 point FIA approved race harnesses, but they were cheap so I thought why not lol.

#14: Re: Proect slow Author: _Jay_, Location: LutonPosted: Thu Feb 18, 2010 4:13 pm ---- Going to be spraying it silver again. WIl be keeping the bonnet black for the time being and then geting a carbon bonnet to replace it. Got a few other ideas but going to keep them to myself for the time being. lol.
