We should be competing by end of the year....going to give it a test at Coombe with a front ARB this time, only a few little jobs now before logbooking.... and whatever the scrut finds wrong. Look forward to meeting you Ed.

Todays update.... Visit to Samurai signs for the window film. MSA regulations state you have to put an anti shatter film of a minimum 100 microns tick on all toughened glass. The film dont stretch too well and you know what the rear glass is like..... suffice to say its on now.

Will only be about in the morning mate, moving into my new flat in the afternoon down the road from Combe.

MSA Regs state only side windows need to be covered in the film mate.

front and rear dont because they are already toughened and laminated.

check reg R.48.1.9 and R48.1.10 of the blue book

Perspex is crap for making windows. It's far to brittle. You need polycarbonate. I have used Lexan Polycarbonate sheet in the past and the stuff is nearly indestructible. It can be cut with a jigsaw, heated and bent and doesn't shatter.
