I have sourced a new prototype oil pump but have yet to test it.... I made the mistake of posting it on here before the thing had been tested and then the engine went bang.
I have now invested £8000 odd on the engine mods and it hurts when things go wrong. Hopefully this time it will last longer than 15mins

i see you use ctm back in my r5 gt turbo owning days they used to build some fantastic engines and still do i know david clark was running a ctm engine last season.
out of interest how much does he charge for a ported head on the gti? inbox me if you prefer?
#453: Re: Macs rally 206 project..New piston mods Author: macj, Location: EssexPosted: Sun Nov 23, 2014 5:42 am ---- I cant remember how much he charged me as I had so much done at once... I know he is very reasonable with his pricing and has a good pedigree. I know Burtons still use him for headwork. I am a little unsure why he has gone for bigger inlet and exhaust valves this time as I thought the exhaust valves were big enough already..... but hey its his name on my engine and we did win the 2013 championship Last edited by macj on Sun Nov 23, 2014 6:10 am; edited 1 time in total
