This is the reason why when I park in a pay and display carpark I pay for 2 parking spaces and park in the middle of two parking spaces. can't say s**t that way..!

But you still run the risk of some idiot not seeing you have paid for 2 space and damage your car for taking 2 spaces.

Ive never had that problem. I blu-tak my tickets to the windscreen so they can see two tickets.

But if they can't see it then muther f****rs should open theirs eyes.

Where on the board does it say you can't pay for 2 parking spaces and use both for 1 vehicle..?

I parked outside my ex girlfriends (when we were going out) house in my 206 stayed there the night only to wake up to someone had run over my car and her sisters boyfriends brand new astra. There are still dents all over the roof, and all on the bonnet.

We were fuming, the other boy refused to ever take his car round and only ever used his van from then on.

Really hate parking dents it really does get me annoyed. I always park as fat away from the attraction ad possible to avoid them but they always park right next to you. Always try to park on the end but I dread the possiblity of my car being drove into. I sometimes wish I had a disabled pass just for the meter space each side of my car.

I know the feeling mate, a similar thing happened to my car, you can't really notice the damage but it's still costing £600 to repair but the insurers won't pay out

This is where I park at work, as I said before, it's the most awkward space there is.

I was reading this thread earlier today thinking to myself how lucky I was that this hadn't happened to me.

A few minutes later my brother asks me to move my car so he can get out of the driveway and I notice a whopping gash in my passenger-side door that must have happened as I was out over the weekend.
Grrr! I'm going to have to follow some of the parking advice you guys have suggested...
