I don't know UK laws, but why not?
If it's the length, the newer spec R6's have about the same length exhaust pipe, from factory Smile

Do they? I thought they are usually massive and reach the regestrations?

Aye, actually i think the 2005 version (as he mentions his is) was the last to have the long, "normal" exhaust. From 2006 they got the little stubby one from factory.
But again, UK specs might be different, if there are certain regulations Smile

Nice bike, but what makes this 51 plate a 2005 spec?

Cheers for all the comments guys Very Happy

On this particular model the exhaust is slightly illegal-ish but thats because there is no real silencer now. On the 2006-present models the silencer is underneath, hence the short stubby can as standard.

But my argument is that big harleys have huge, loud exhausts and get away with it so worth a shot, ey? lol

This is a 2005 model but its got my private plate on it AU51 HAY (Austin Hayward) Razz

BHP figures are abit sketchy as it all depends on environment and weather at time of test but anywhere between 100-120 is about right.

Its Fast enough!!! Very Happy
