just bought some new car mats but they keep sliding down constantly. what could i put under them to stop them?

there are these like saftey pins you can get that go into the carpet then into the mate to stop them sliding.

double sided tape?

car mats usually have loads of little spikes in the bottom of them to stop them sliding...

I have the Peugeot rubber mats and i have this problem but on on the drivers side, realy annoying

I bought a new car that has little clip things. Razz

It has spikey rubber things but they do naff all. I have found some velcro so I will try that first. it will work if it sticks to the carpet.

Go to the market, get a small amount of velcro for about 50p, and stick it to the mat (Not the fluffy but, the other Laughing )

It wont move anywhere Wink

When I bought my new orig 206 mats they came with the two screw clips which you screw into the bottom carpet, and lock into the mat.

sorted. As I suspected the velcro would not stick to the mats but I found some heavy duty glue which did the trick. proper job Very Happy

may i just ask what will you do when them mats are shagged and need replacing ????
