what engine is easiest to put in my x reg 206 for most gains , with not much hassle, was thinking preplexed gti140 then cam it??

138 preplexed cars arnt even expensive, you could literally sell your car and get an old 138 for the same price and lot less hassle

insurance will be more for a conversion surely ??? the fact you are changing over a 138 engine into a small car? unless you dont declare but not advised

You have to declare an engine change to your insurance and your premium will probably end up being more than if you just bought a gti 138. Honestly mate not worth the hassle you could lose a lot of money should you ever have an accident as youl not be covered and have to pay for the any damage caused to your own and other peoples cars should anyone else be involved.
