How wasy is it to change the back box?

I have looked at the exhaust pipes its self and it looks pretty new i just dont like the back rather a oval chape or twin like the gti180.

Soo how hard is it to hcnage your self and what would i need?

Just 2 bolts on the U clamp which is near the back box!

My next 2 questions are.

What is the size of the hole in the bumper on a 1.4 LX

Also can you do it without jacking the car up?

Guessing it would be harder?

easiest if you back the car onto some ramps then get under it.you should be able to fit a 4 inch tail pipe in the hole id guess.

Definatly need it on ramps or jacked up, unless your really skinny and small Laughing

Yea im not skinny or small :L Gunna be a pain finding ramps. dont really fancy buying some just for this :/

easy so long as you get the right one for your car. can get others to fit but probably need brackets moving etc.

btw gotta 4" oval supersprint backbox off a gti if your interested.

if you carnt get ramps, try parking it one side on the curb so it raises it a lil bit!

You don't need ramps at all I've done it without it's not hard at all you just have to lie down flat and is a bit more awkward

find two old bricks and reverse the back onto them, or as mentioned above, reverse it onto a kerb Very Happy
