Sam.
Yeh, thats the plan for the scooby
Steal the stuff out of this one, and put it in a proper mini tunnel box in the scooby
#18: Re: PG Tips Street-Basser Project Author: Addaz, Location: SuffolkPosted: Mon Oct 18, 2010 8:37 am ---- Still got problems, the drivers side components are not working
Cleaned the earth point with p80 till shiny, took apart amplifier and lock tight'd the screws holding down earths in the amplifier and done up any other screws holding connections
The component amplifier is hooked up to the exterior fuse board though, could this be the problem? Or maybe a break in the wire, but it will cut in and out of playing
The passenger side will cut out sometimes, but rarely and before i cleaned up the earth i could hear my engine through the speakers?

More than likely, or the terminal ring just isnt getting an earth
Apart from that, any ideas why drivers side cuts in and out? And is distorted before it cuts out?

Are the RCA feeds okay? And got another amp to try it? Even if it means using a sub amp and feeding each speaker separately to test.

Ash......
If i give them my 14001e, it will rape my speakers so much it will be unreal
But i will see if i can find one
Oh i've already changed my RCA leads, but i will swap them again and move the earth to a better place? Or use a smaller terminal so it actually touches the bolt?
Love ya ashh
Oh and yes, liams is mental, i aspire to that car

You have to remember they are in a different league, much more space to work with
Please say your intrested in the shizzle, we need another mind on board
Any previous install's i should know about?
#28: Re: PG Tips Street-Basser Project Author: Addaz, Location: SuffolkPosted: Thu Nov 11, 2010 11:38 am ---- Component amp fixed, bloody RCA's fall out from the vibrations from the install
But who cares, its coming out for a bigger one
Though be it, will i see much gain from doubling the power? But keeping the subs inverted but porting them correctly?
#29: Re: PG Tips Street-Basser Project Author: Addaz, Location: SuffolkPosted: Thu Nov 25, 2010 2:01 pm ---- Plans for the next install to hit 145db are added
Christmas is the starting date
