I rape oil valve steam seals with the correct 'peugeot' tool Laughing

 


(big thing to the right, my tool to the left)

End result with incorrect tool and my tool Laughing

 


Placed away, ready for cleaning later on (possibley upgrading to stiffer piper springs, but depends on wage amount)

Engine bay now has no wiring (apart from the main loom for the sensors which i cant remove)

How come that choice of ecu ? Im going with gems. What are you doing about lowering compression ?

Iv just helped build a 498 whp fiesta st and a 430whp 1.6 civic. So iv got the boost bug.

Decompresson plate from DP engineering (8.5:1 i think) safe to 30psi

They're well made, s**t hot designs with way more features than anything in its price bracket. If you wanted a better ecu you'd have to spend at least £5k on a Life Racing unit. GEMS supply F1, wrc, btcc etc. also, half the ecu's on the market are old gems designs rebranded - Omex is a ten year old gems unit.
