I had one 1kg powder one, i highly advise two 2kg ones! And not powder! As it put it out but it just started up again!
#553: Re: PG Tips - Waste of Money, Effort and Time - 206 1.4 8v Turbo Author: Addaz, Location: SuffolkPosted: Wed Jan 06, 2016 4:41 pm ---- I should really update this since its been half a year
Well what can i say?
Have i done loads?
No not in my eyes
What have i been doing?
Redoing everything I started fixing the bits that need attention and then ended up redoing most of it, one weekend at a time. Its getting close but its painfully slow process!
Whats left?
Fuel system, moving to PTFE aeroquip, building the mil spec loom (when i have the dam tools!), finishing of the relay board and then paint work again!
Is she changing?
Yes, very much so. She will be the first 206 to be done this way, and i hope to break the internet a touch when shes done!

#555: Re: PG Tips - Waste of Money, Effort and Time - 206 1.4 8v Turbo Author: Addaz, Location: SuffolkPosted: Sun Apr 03, 2016 2:55 pm ---- Also after speaking to a good engine building friend of mine, I just wanted to advise people on whoever are deciding to turbo-charge their 206 (TU specifically) that the plastic fuel rail is a danger waiting to happen!
Apparently my EGT probe was not working as it should have, so my thoughts of 500 or so degrees in the downpipe should have been closer to more 800 to 900 after a few high speed runs. The exhaust on the TU runs underneath the engine, and as we know heat rises, so hence why the fuel rail lifted in the centre and allowed the injectors to leak everywhere
