I might try for more body work aswell, but thats if we get the engine bay cracked on by the next few weeks

Well my work load got a lot bigger and my pockets became empty, one fully balanced and lightened bottom end with a knife edged and reground crank to 0.30mm due to wear. Crank is sexy as though

How much was it to balance the bottom end and have the crank knife edged?

Ni on £400, plus £200 for all the replacment bolts (arp conrod bolts and genuine crank bolts)

0.3 mm regrounding ? I suggest to you never use regrounded crankshaft on performance engine.

It was on the mains not the big end, so its here nor there I did debate the fact whether it needed doing but they advised me it did. Yes the mains will take more strain but if I get a year out of this engine I will be happy. Thanks for the input though

Is it really worth all the balancing and knife edging for a turbo engine? Its not going to be a screamer of an engine.
