#1: So I went and lost my key... Author: Afro206, Location: Romford / LoughboroughPosted: Sun Sep 19, 2010 9:03 am ---- I'm an idiot, I know, but I went and lost my key
Oh well, such is life.
All I need now is to get a replacement. I don't have a spare (Was planning on getting one when I get paid), and I've just called up a locksmith who quoted £210 for a new key w/ remote locking and £150 for a key without.
Anyone know how much this is likely to cost direct from Peugeot? And the timescales they work on? Because I'm supposed to be driving back to Loughborough a week Thursday.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Author: tomheslop, Location: South East, StevenagePosted: Sun Sep 19, 2010 9:08 am ---- My mate works in parts at my local pug and I was asking him how much a new key would cost. He said around £250 I was shocked they program it and get the key cut. I still don't believe that is a reasonable price though.

My keys were just found.
Cheers for the help though Tom, much appreciated!

All you need is to:
A) Phone up peugeot for the key code - £18
B) Key programmer will come out and read the code from the car already and program the key for you - £30 ish
None of this 'oh it cant be done' bully, i should know i've had it done

I'm quite capable of using the search button. But I didn't need to reprogram a second hand remote, I needed a complete key.
Nice and friendly response though. Cheers.

#10: Re: So I went and lost my key... Author: EDP407, Location: Melksham, WiltshirePosted: Sun Sep 19, 2010 9:48 am ---- I know from experience, for my 306, peugeot charged me £170 for just the key or £250 for the whole package, so very similar prices surprisingly
