#1: Project money pit ****UPDATE page 6 ***** Author: Mrs_Howey, Location: WorthingPosted: Thu Feb 18, 2010 8:21 am ---- It all started in october 2008, when i first got my 206, she was £2995, with 1 female owner, complete history with all work done at pug, 42,007 miles on the clock.
my first picture, the side strips had already been taken off ready for cc'ing.
In april 2009 i took a trip to demon tweeks, this is when she got her pro race 1.2 gloss white wheels (which everyone has now ), powerflow exhaust, piper cross induction kit and suspension (which to this day still isn't fitted)
On one sh**ty day at work, it was ubber windy, and my poo baby got damaged , as many of you know she got hit by an industrial fridge, ye very funny i know, but it ment a new wing and the bonnet repaired.
I then spent out on new parts: sports front bumper, rear bumper, spoiler, morettes, RGM side skirts, badgeless front grill, phase 2 boot strip, sp lower grill
she then went off to the bodyshop for a week and half to make sure she was ready for FCS09, with a £1600 bill she came back looking like this:
She then made her big day at FCS09, she was also first on the 206info stand go me,
Not long after i spotted a carbon fibre bonnet on the forum forsale, which i couldn't resist
but as you can see it didn't fit completely on one side
So she then stayed like this for a while, due to having no money as i was traveling alot to see howey
I then decided i wanted another carbon bonnet, and i saw that quicksilver04 (i think it was) was selling some, and thanks to jamie not having his, i got myself a brand new bonnet
which as you can see fit perfectly . . . Last edited by Mrs_Howey on Sat Jul 17, 2010 2:16 pm; edited 7 times in total
#2: Re: Project money pit Author: Dabamash, Location: The car in frontPosted: Thu Feb 18, 2010 8:27 am ---- Very nice. I must admit, having the small gap on the front of the bonnet where the badge went actually looks quite awesome on your car, kinda technical looking. I wouldn't be able to justify spending 1600 quid on my 1.1 though. Maybe if I had a 180...
#3: Re: Project money pit Author: Ellis1612, Location: St.NeotsPosted: Thu Feb 18, 2010 8:28 am ---- Nice...looking the cars looks

I can drive this car too!
#10: Re: Project money pit Author: Mrs_Howey, Location: WorthingPosted: Thu Feb 18, 2010 8:49 am ---- Ellis if i could i'd start all over again with her, but i was lucky that my mum helped me out alot last year with the car, but now there's not really many cheap things left to do
I would say to anyone who is modding their car, don't rush it all do it over time and really enjoy each mod

Only thing I'm not too keen on is the white wheels with the carbon bonnet and stuff, they're lovely wheels but I'm just not toooo keen on both white and dark goods on a coloured car if you know what I mean?

I am looking forward to the day i take a step back and as i've finally finished, so i will be hear a few years yet
#20: Re: Project money pit Author: Quarmbo, Location: Bristol & LeicesterPosted: Thu Feb 18, 2010 9:39 am ---- Looking good. I second the idea about the 3 colour schemes, but if its what you want then go for it.

#74: Re: Project money pit ****UPDATE page 4 ***** Author: Mrs_Howey, Location: WorthingPosted: Mon Jun 28, 2010 7:13 am ---- Soo it's been a while since i've updated but it's all lowered now and thr handling is fab and the gti breaks are a such a good upgrade to the stand 1.4's
i did paint my axle before it went on the car, just to freshen it up abit as it was looking very rusty
I also painted my calipers white but they need to be re-done
I then loaded the car up with all my suspension parts and yes everything fitted nicely in the 206
It then spent 9ish hours with Kris while he did all the work on my car
Then after howey had his front springs changed we came home
I also had my rear bumper strip re-painted and as mainy of you know it was damaged but something scratching it, and i also got myself a 180 bumper which i had sprayed
I also sprayed my interior trim piece white
Thats as far as i have gotten so far
Things to do:
New exhaust tip
sort my i.c.e out as i've only got rear speakers working
Find 1 vortex wheel
Then i'll be fixing the 205
