#1: Project money pit ****UPDATE page 6 ***** Author: Mrs_Howey, Location: WorthingPosted: Thu Feb 18, 2010 8:21 am ---- It all started in october 2008, when i first got my 206, she was £2995, with 1 female owner, complete history with all work done at pug, 42,007 miles on the clock.
my first picture, the side strips had already been taken off ready for cc'ing.
In april 2009 i took a trip to demon tweeks, this is when she got her pro race 1.2 gloss white wheels (which everyone has now ), powerflow exhaust, piper cross induction kit and suspension (which to this day still isn't fitted)
On one sh**ty day at work, it was ubber windy, and my poo baby got damaged , as many of you know she got hit by an industrial fridge, ye very funny i know, but it ment a new wing and the bonnet repaired.
I then spent out on new parts: sports front bumper, rear bumper, spoiler, morettes, RGM side skirts, badgeless front grill, phase 2 boot strip, sp lower grill
she then went off to the bodyshop for a week and half to make sure she was ready for FCS09, with a £1600 bill she came back looking like this:
She then made her big day at FCS09, she was also first on the 206info stand go me,
Not long after i spotted a carbon fibre bonnet on the forum forsale, which i couldn't resist
but as you can see it didn't fit completely on one side
So she then stayed like this for a while, due to having no money as i was traveling alot to see howey
I then decided i wanted another carbon bonnet, and i saw that quicksilver04 (i think it was) was selling some, and thanks to jamie not having his, i got myself a brand new bonnet
which as you can see fit perfectly . . . Last edited by Mrs_Howey on Sat Jul 17, 2010 2:16 pm; edited 7 times in total

I must admit, having the small gap on the front of the bonnet where the badge went actually looks quite awesome on your car, kinda technical looking. I wouldn't be able to justify spending 1600 quid on my 1.1 though. Maybe if I had a 180...

I would say to anyone who is modding their car, don't rush it all do it over time and really enjoy each mod

#15: Re: Project money pit Author: Malteaser-xO, Location: FifePosted: Thu Feb 18, 2010 9:07 am ---- I actually really like what you've done with the car, you've really soldiered on with it and got a lot of stuff done in a short amount of time
Only thing I'm not too keen on is the white wheels with the carbon bonnet and stuff, they're lovely wheels but I'm just not toooo keen on both white and dark goods on a coloured car if you know what I mean?
