#1: vortex Author: Adz2598, Location: Oldbury west midlandsPosted: Tue Sep 21, 2010 2:17 pm ---- a mate of mine has got 3 normal vortex alloys but 1 has got a centre cap, and i have 5 normal vortex and he said he will swap my spare 1 for his 1 with the centre cap and throw some money my way but how much should i ask for ?
#2: Re: vortex Author: DJ-, Location: UKPosted: Tue Sep 21, 2010 2:19 pm ---- they worth about the same arent they. If he's your mate and thats just a spare 5th wheel I wouldnt ask for much personally. Its up to you really as on ebay they generally go for around the same price as each other
#3: Re: vortex Author: Felix., Location: south centralPosted: Tue Sep 21, 2010 2:21 pm ---- The (206) 'vortex' with a centre cap is a (307) Challenger, and is 1/2 inch narrower than the vortex.

#7: Re: vortex Author: Iain, Location: Aberdeen, ScotlandPosted: Tue Sep 21, 2010 2:57 pm ---- If you ever sell, you'll find it much more difficult with a Challenger instead of a 5th Vortex, but if you get enough from him for it, I guess that isn't really an issue.

would you though because all you would say is that it comes with a spare wheel which it does, because how many people actually look under the car at the spare wheel, i bought my 206 back in febuary and didnt realise till i got home that the bloke who owned it before me had removed the spare wheel and the cage

I was thinking more about selling the wheels seperately. I didn't actually look to see if he had a 180, or had just bought 5 Vortex's.
The 180's don't have spare wheels anyway actually, the exhaust gets in the way of where the cage would be.

Then you could just put it up on flebay if you wanted to and sell it
