#1: Best/Cheapest Couriering for sports bumpers? Author: rudebwoi93, Location: London PostPosted: Wed Sep 22, 2010 7:28 am

Hey guys, I just bought a sports front and rear bumper off of ebay, I need to get them couriered to my door, the guy is in brighton i think, and im in middlesex so its all mainland uk. But obviously it needs to be picked up and dropped off. I remember someone (molly i think? ) saying that they couriered a bumper for £10 or £15? Does anyone have any recomendations as to cheap/good couriers? Note: There are two bumpers.

Just to warn you, me and some other members on here have had bad dealings with paisley freight I wouldn't recommend them at all. Stay away if you can, they don't come on the day of pick up, late delivering it and to top it off are generally rude or even impossible to contact should you want to enquire about anything. Wouldn't give them my custom again and if you google a suprising amount of people also agree.

Yeah as a matter of a fact I did see that, they are also more expensive, I have been looking at parcelmonkey and parcel2go, but I was after something a little cheaper, maybe around the £30 mark for both of them, does anyone have any recommendations???

ALSO BUMP - FIRST POST EDITED TO REFLECT PURCHASE OF BUMPERS!!

I got a quote for both the front and rear ones at £15.50 each from parcel force, it says something about 1.5m and maximum gird and something 3m, i know the bumper is 160cm but i think it should be ok?? thats £31 for both.... can anyone comment on this? Or better it etc.? Ive never done this before so any help would be much appreciated!!

UPDATE: the guy only gave me length width and weight he didnt give me height.

Rear bumper is 6kg width 37cm length 160cm, height (i assumed height was like 45 or something)

Front bumper is 9kg width 45 height length 160cm, height (i assumed again like 45 or something)

- Parcelforce quoted me £31 but a bit confusing with regards to length as it says something about max is 150cm

- Parcel2Go quoted me £35 with the same as above except both bumpers i entered as 45cmx45cm so less room for error etc. i guess...
