It's nice to see you're keeping faith in the car after the accident. I would be a broken man if I crashed mine and I haven't put in anywhere near as much work as you have. Goodluck dude

Shits went down in my life just now. Don't know if I'll be keeping my car for much longer so for just now all plans are on hold.

As difficult as walking in to any Peugeot / Citroen main dealer's parts department with the paint code & asking the person behind the desk to sell you some paint.

OR

If you cant be bothered with that find your local automotive paint supplier & get some spray cans made up.

Search the forum and use the paint code guide.

Right. Well. As mentioned a while ago, I had a bump with a Range Rover and nearly wrote the car off. So anyway, long story short. I got the car running but I had a primed grey bonnet on a blue car.

I priced it to get it painted and the prices varied from £140-£310. With my previous experience on painting, I thought. For £40, Ill try it with cans. Thats right, cans!!

I broke my shoulder so I wasn't driving anyway, so I struggled to take the car apart and I painted away. At the same time, I saved up and bought SP arches and painted them too.

So, the finished article. A very dirty, muddy article;

Oh and also, a wheel bearing on one of my wheels was majorly buckled so I had to buy new alloys. And I got these for £100 with new tyres, bargain.

I understand there would be a better quality paint if I got it proffesionally done and oven baked and s**t, but on a budget, it does the trick.

Opinions?
