Looked at last year's ticket and the discs all roound were pitted so will no doubt need replacing this year. anybody know how much discs all round on a 2001 GTi will be? so i don't get a nasty shock!

the discs were again an advisory but they reckon I should get a few more thousand out of them. What I might do then is get them done in the new year after my christmas bonus.
Was thinking I might get some better discs/pads on there, some sort of performance ones. any recommendations?

OEM will do fine. Change them yourself too btw

OEM will do fine. Change them yourself too btw
I've never done it before. How difficult is it? as with most things it's probably easy if you have the right equipment. my tool box is lacking though. (not rude jokes please! )
