#1: Project VTS Update Author: Mattie-RS, Location: A Track near you ;)Posted: Sun Oct 03, 2010 3:22 pm ---- Thought I may aswell do a Project thread too as most who have moved on and stick around have
Started of like this, which she still does atm as i dont plan on any exteriour mods, Apart from track decals.
Standard (ATM) 1.6 16v engine,
Always had a love for the track, And had a 206 that i was using as a track toy and also a turbo conversion project, untill i took the VTS out at Silverstone. And had an instant love for it on track compared to the 206, seemed to handle alot better and was alot more power and play, which was the deminise of the 206's end.
Thus Earning my Silverstone decal,
Also after Silverstone i have been to York Racestrip a few times and managed a 16.587sec 1/4 mile
Not sure on what to do first, I have abit of money saved and I'm either going to get full exhaust system done, or go for adjustable struts with lowering springs all rouund.
I have C4 VTS calipers waiting to go on also, but they need Discs and Pads too.
Comments and Suggestions Welcome. Enjoy Last edited by Mattie-RS on Sun Oct 24, 2010 8:43 am; edited 2 times in total

Aye mate With that has come a hefty price, 206 has become abondand and most parts are now sold, some will be used on the C2, Brakes, Injectors, Harness are all thats left.
Also was thinking of maybe putting 180 seats in so i can keep the side airbags but also use the harness with the seats, what you guys reckon??
#10: Re: Project VTS/S Author: Andy180, Location: Stoke on TrentPosted: Mon Oct 04, 2010 10:05 am ---- wouldnt bother putting 180 seats in they will just weigh down an already heavy car
#11: Re: Project VTS/S Author: Mattie-RS, Location: A Track near you ;)Posted: Mon Oct 04, 2010 10:10 am ---- Not to bothered about the weight of the seats, the current seats are already heavy so i wont be making much difference, Just want some comfy seats with side airbags and a place for the harness to go through
#12: Re: Project VTS/S Author: Andy180, Location: Stoke on TrentPosted: Mon Oct 04, 2010 11:12 am ---- fair enough, nice car by the way always had a soft spot for C2's

Eibach Pro Sport performance lowering springs, 45mm front, 30mm back, Mine is already low been VTS
And a Raceland 4-1 Manifold/Decat,
Yes it does have 4 springs, Independant suspension FTW
#14: Re: Project VTS Update Author: Mattie-RS, Location: A Track near you ;)Posted: Sun Oct 24, 2010 8:50 am ---- Had the 4-1 Mani/Decat put on this week,, And woooow what a difference it has made.
The noise is awesome once warm!! And there feels to be more of a smoother pull!1
Also while it was in the garage i had the 4 lowering spring put on aswell. Nice drop which is what i wanted.
Only got pics of how it looks, but will get pics of the mani on and springs soon.

The handling has improved quite abit tbh really grips in the corners now, and the exhaust sounds awesome,, bigrich_180 had a lil passenger ride in it today and he was very impressed
Couldnt get a pic of the front as there's hardly andy arch gap
This is on the bottom of the drive which is flat!
The mani is abit dirty from when my mechanic fit it, needs a lil polish,,
Just need to get some new discs and pads for front and rear so my C4 VTS setup can go on then after the RR day at RSTuning will be ready for Stage 2
