I would say yes that is too much, I sold a 2001 Xsi with all the mods for £2650 about 18 months ago, the car market has crashed since then too.

i think that may be a wee bit to much as i sold my 2001 gti in feb for 1900 and it only had 69000 mileson the clock

Removing mods & replacing them with the original parts will increase the likelyhood of someone buying it.
Plus you get extra cash for the mods sold.

This, however I sold mine to a 45 year old lady, she liked it because it was 'pretty' Very Happy I think if you can proove it's not been chavved then you have more chance of selling it still modded.

Well i got my 206 1.4 glx 52 reg for £1450 with 70k on the clock. You could use that as a marker.
