So reacently I bought some group n gear linkages and quickshift plus a decat pipe . I intended to fit them today to find both are pretty much in accessable! So does any one know roughly what a garage should charge ?

Remove the battery & battery tray. I made a how to on this, I'll post the link in a min.
Then jack the car up and get under it to install the QS, it can be done, as I did it.

Ok thanks. il have another look tomorow but just seems I cant get to the linkages behind the engine . . Did you do this from under the car? I try pop them off and they move I dont want to force it and break anything

You really have to force them!
2 spanner levering method is best.
Removing the battery box will give you enough access to do most of them, one may have to be done from underneath. A second pair of hands is advised.
