#1: My Euro 206 Project thread! Author: timpug206, Location: Lincoln, East Midlands. PostPosted: Tue Oct 19, 2010 5:23 am
    ----
Hi guys ive been wanting to do a project thread for a long time now , unfortuantly my pictures arnt great and i dont have a great deal of them . but you will be able to see how the car has progressed from when i brought it 4 monthes ago! I will be able to get the pictures of my car while it was in the body shop soon but i thought i would start this thread today.

Ok so here goes, This is the car when i brought it

Completly standard, nothing done to it, ex-peugeot business car, so had been serviced via peugeot every 10k, have all reciepts to prove Smile

These are the pictures from the showroom. I picked it up and got straight to work the day after.

The following day i took it to motosave, My cousin works there who owns a 206. (id ordered parts for the 206 before i even brought it lol) So i have things to put on it as soon as id got the car.

So here are the pictures the following day after lowering it.

After lowering it i got down to fitting the sound system, which is a full Fli setup including door speakers front and rear, headunit and subwoofer. I also i fitted a set of Black/tinted lexus lights, which i think work with the car, im not keen on the standard lexus lights but i thought id try them out.

I picked up a set of Axia Bombers for a decent price and got them fitted the following day, here is how they sat at the rear!

I then fitted the cupra R front splitter and the bonnet bra which never fit right, as it just wasnt tight enough around the front!

The car sat like this last picture of a month of so before i decided what i wanted to do, i was going to sell it then i came across some money. This is how is sat for a month!

I was then stuck waiting for the bodyshop to be free, so in the week i got my self some stickers and a aftermarket fog light for the rear. I also Fitted the 206 gti seats half leather half alcantara (god knows how to spell it) Thanks to Razpulsedj!

It finally went into the body shop to come out looking like this,
I had the following done to the car ;
1) Badge recess smoothed
2) Smooth grill
3) Number plate excess smoothed
4) Fogs removed and smoothed
5) Washer jets removed and smoothed
6) 1 of the bonnet vents removed and smoothed
7) Tow eye removed
8 ) Different mesh
9) Front end respray including bonnet, bumper, wings, grill
10) Momo team 280 fitted!

Here are the pictures the day i got it from the bodyshop

After ordering my ecosse fuel cap which will take 4 weeks to get here i decided to do something different with my standard one.

I then went to pick up my new set of wheels from a friend of mine, this is how one of them looks when i put them on.

They are 205 gti wheels (speedlines) Black with a polished lip, soon to be going body colour with polished lip!

And finally this is how the car sits today!

Hope you like what you see guys,
Here is a list of whats to come

1) Smooth door locks
2) Marvel comic strips over roof
3) Smooth Roof
4) Smooth boot
5) Remapped
6) De-catted
7) Helper Springs out
Cool 165/45/r15 tyres to go on.
9) Gti rear axle with discs

Last of all i recieved one of my favorite stickers of all time! Hope you like!!

Thanks!!!! <3 <3

Quite like the poo sticker Laughing Needs to go lower on the front though and your old wheels were more "euro" speedlines aren't very euro. However, i know of someone who can make speedlines into a 2 piece wheel Wink

What He Said

Riding on bump stops could damage the trailing arm bearings in long run.
