#1: bradshaw1759s 206 2.0 hdi dturbo (updated 23/10/10) Author: bradshaw1759, Location: wigan (center of the universe)Posted: Wed Oct 20, 2010 3:18 pm ---- been thinkin of makin a progress thread for a while so here it is. had a mk4 astra and got board had it on swapz.co.uk for about 2 months and after bein offered about 100 different cars i went for the 206. didnt look to bad at first till i got it home anyway and found out it was a bit of a death trap took it to the garage and found out the engine was falling out basically all the rubbers had worn away and the bar that holds the engine had snapped, so 2 days after getting it had to spend £350. wasnt that bad after that then 2 weeks later it started to pull hard to one side when drivin at high speed, another trip to the garage then and found out that both wishbones were knackered couldnt afford to get it repaired straight away so instead of doin the sensible thing and puttin it on the drive till i could afford it i carried driving it lol only stopped when 1 of my front wheels exploded !!!!. bought the parts off ebay and fitted them myself got 2 new wishbones, cv boot kit, front pads and a set of steel wheels because the wheels were knackered and decided to give her a service why i was at it . another 160 down the drain. but apart from that shes been good to me pmsl anyway
this is how she looked when i got her.
not the best looking car at the min but will be spendin lol of pennies on mods and not just repairs lol
