I'd steer clear from anything that looks like a body kit to be fair.

Most are pretty hidious only a couple suit a 206 and even then i'd prefer normal bumpers etc.

Each to their own Sam, but if you bought some "Add on" s**te, then painted it...it soon amounts to a lot of money on a car which you won't be able to sell on because it looks chavved. There are some nice kits out there for the 206 but they have a price tag to suit.

I would go ahead and stop listening to that person in the garage.

Bodykits are ridiculously expensive to do properly, and when you come to sell, you will get none of your money back. I will admit, I have seen one or two nice kitted cars (Bobsparkle, Pricey's old one), but unless you can take the financial hit, it's really not worth it.

Then there's your insurance which is likely to increase. Your car will stand out more to thieves/vandals as well.

All in my opinion of course.

Get some front a and back sport bumpers. Sp kit grills arches ect. Gti 180 wheels and lower it. Will totally transform the look of the car without making it look ott. Just my opinion. But if we all did tha same and had the same taste we would all be driving identical cars with would be booring. So up to u really mate.

I've said this somewhere else today, but-
The 206 is a common car, so even if all info members cars looked identical, it would still stand out from the majority of other 206's in the world. If you like it, go for it, no matter how common the mod is on here. We can't help having good taste &/or being influenced by it.

I wosnt saying don't go with the majority as a have with mine because that's wot I like and I agree with you that it will stand out in every day driveing and at meets. But if he likes big bodykits who are we to say don't do it. It's down to personal choice and wot the individual likes ( you don't have to be the same just to fit in). If it was my car I would stick to gti bumpers Sp kit nice wheels and lowering.

i know it might be a really silly question but would gti bumpers go on my car then? and has anyone got rough prices of bumpers and again roughly to be sprayed (as my cars moonstone blue...)

Look's aren't everything, she needs to have a nice personality too.

But if you're just after a quick shag, you dont look at the mantle piece while you're poking the fire, do you Laughing

Ken! I was more going for the exterior. I think the interior on that car cost more than the exterior or the boot build cost or even the engine cost. I'd have loved to have watched them make that dash board. I think there might be pics of it over on X2C.
