this 206 looks like it has an add on body kit at the back? what are your opinions on this? and are they called add on's? ty

Most are pretty hidious only a couple suit a 206 and even then i'd prefer normal bumpers etc.

There are some nice kits out there for the 206 but they have a price tag to suit.

I would go ahead and stop listening to that person in the garage.
Bodykits are ridiculously expensive to do properly, and when you come to sell, you will get none of your money back. I will admit, I have seen one or two nice kitted cars (Bobsparkle, Pricey's old one), but unless you can take the financial hit, it's really not worth it.
Then there's your insurance which is likely to increase. Your car will stand out more to thieves/vandals as well.
All in my opinion of course.
